An Interfaith Visual and Performing Arts Festival

History:

The God Loves Beauty Festival was co-founded by Zuriani Ani Zonneveld and Christopher Stephan, two community Peace activists living in Los Angeles, California in 2005.

God Loves Beauty Festival is a Muslims for Progressive Values event.

Our Mission:

To bring together our various faith communities to showcase our commonalities and celebrate our differences through the Arts. We believe that the Arts have a unique way of breaking down barriers and

bringing forth clear and open dialogue. The Artist’s expression is a God given gift that speaks ones innermost emotions and we hope to highlight these gifts through our yearly Festivals.

Our Goals:

-To gather our various faith communities once a year in celebrating the

artists amongst us.

-To create bridges between communities and build on those relationships through the arts.

-To inspire other communities to engage in a similar effort.

-To promote all artistic expressions and keep the arts vibrant and alive.
